9/24/10- I'm on the part when Buck is taken away from his owner, and is taken to the cold north. Buck is shock at the change in the environment, and doesn't know what to do. He has never been away from his owner , and he is lost in this cold new world.He has seen many hostile activities up there. Such as the kill of the dog who lost the fight. All the dogs gathered around a circle while two dogs were in the middle fighting until the loser falls down and every dog in the circle attacks the loser and kills it.Buck finds this very harsh and

9/10/10- I am reading The Call Of The Wild and White Fang by Jack London. The reason I picked this book was because I enjoy reading and knowing the hardships that characters encounter and learning from them. This book is about the hardships of a dog named Buck who is taken away from his owner and taken to the northwest and has to learned many things that he never thought existed back at his owners house.
